Using Caribsocial  » Articles

Content that goes against our professional community policies is removed. When we do this, we also notify you of the violation of our policies, how it occurred, and the steps we are doing as a result. You will have the chance to request a second look if you think your content was removed inadvertently.
Account restrictions may be imposed after persistent violations.

We provide members the chance to contest account restrictions, and if they agree to abide by these Professional Community Policies, we might reinstate a restricted account. The Caribsocial network will permanently ban users who repeatedly violate its terms.

We may permanently restrict your account after a single violation of certain egregious violations of our Professional Community Policies (such as child sexual abuse material, terrorism, very violent content, or egregious sexual harassment).

When sharing content for the purpose of raising awareness or condemnation, it may be OK to do so even though it would typically be against the text of our policies. In these situations, we may mark and obfuscate the information for members who might find it sensitive or upsetting or who do not otherwise want to access it. We won't punish the author for sharing it, though, and neither will we remove the content.
