How CaribSocial Announce Works

Announce is CaribSocial's dedicated discovery space for important public notices, opportunities and updates. It helps members publish information beyond the normal social feed and organize it for discovery by category, audience, location, topic and freshness.

Who can publish?

Signed-in CaribSocial members who are eligible to use Announce can create an announcement. Publishing must follow CaribSocial policies and moderation rules.

Choosing an audience

Global is useful when location does not matter. Near You is intended for location-relevant notices and opportunities. Caribbean is for announcements intended for people across the Caribbean region.

Pricing and duration

Announce is a paid publishing feature. The current publishing screen is the authoritative source for available durations and prices, which may change over time.

Review and moderation

Announcements may be reviewed before becoming publicly discoverable. Submissions can be approved, rejected, suspended or returned for changes when appropriate.

Publishing tips

Use a clear title, put important facts near the beginning, choose an accurate category and audience, and avoid duplicate, misleading or keyword-stuffed submissions.

Frequently asked questions

How is Announce different from a normal post?

A normal post is distributed primarily through social-feed and recommendation signals. Announce is organized specifically for discovery by audience, category, location, topic and freshness.

Does every announcement appear everywhere?

No. Discovery depends on audience, relevance, location, freshness, eligibility and other ranking signals.
