Paid membership vs admin-granted upgrade

Understand the difference between a paid CaribSocial subscription and an admin-granted plan.

Your effective CaribSocial plan can come from a paid Stripe subscription or from an admin-granted or promotional upgrade.

Paid membership
A paid subscription is billed through Stripe and can show its current renewal period on the Membership page. Use Manage or Change plan to open the Stripe customer portal.

Admin-granted upgrade
An admin-granted upgrade gives plan access without requiring subscription payment. It can have an expiration date or remain active until revoked, depending on the grant.

What happens if both are active?
CaribSocial uses the higher currently valid tier. For example, if you pay for Pro but have a temporary Premium grant, Premium features apply while that grant remains valid.

When the grant expires or is revoked, your account falls back to the paid subscription tier if it is still active. If no paid membership remains, it falls back to Basic.
