How to archive, mark unread or delete multiple conversations

Use Messenger bulk selection to mark unread, archive or delete conversations.

Messenger has a conversation-management mode for handling several chats at once.

1. Open Manage conversations.
2. Select one or more visible conversations, or use All to select the visible list.
3. Choose Mark unread, Archive or Delete.

Mark unread is useful as a personal reminder. Archive removes the conversation from the normal inbox views and places it under Archived. Delete is a separate action and should be used only when you intend to remove the conversation through the available Messenger action.
