How to start a new Messenger conversation

Start a direct chat from the Messenger New Message picker.

Use New Message in Messenger to start a conversation with an existing CaribSocial connection.

The current new-message picker loads profiles from your accepted connections and lets you search them by display name. Choose a person to create or open the direct conversation.

If someone does not appear in the picker, confirm that the connection relationship is active. Profile messaging and other entry points can also open a conversation when the platform allows it.
