How CaribSocial Discover and the Interest Engine work

Understand how selected interests and activity signals improve CaribSocial recommendations.

Discover helps CaribSocial make recommendations more relevant to you.

CaribSocial can use two kinds of interest signals:

• Interests you choose yourself.
• Activity signals created as you use supported parts of CaribSocial.

Your Discovery Profile combines these signals to improve recommendations across supported discovery areas. Explicit interests can appear as Selected in your Discovery Profile.

You do not have to select interests for discovery to work. If your interest list is empty, recommendations can still learn from supported activity over time.

The Discover overview also gives you shortcuts into personalized areas such as Articles & News, Jobs, Marketplace, Party Radar and Watch.
