How custom Artist Profile links work

Understand custom Artist Profile slugs and why an artist link may change after editing.

Artist cards open the dedicated Artist Profile route using the artist's custom URL slug when one is available. If the artist does not have a custom slug, CaribSocial can fall back to the account identifier for routing.

For artist owners, changing the custom profile URL through the supported profile editor changes the canonical profile destination after the update succeeds.

When sharing an Artist Profile, use the current profile link so other people are sent to the artist's active canonical page.
