How App Review and domain verification work

Understand the trust information, DNS domain verification and production App Review process for developer apps.

Sandbox lets you build and test before production approval. Production access uses a separate review and trust process.

Before submitting for App Review, complete the app information requested in App Settings, including:
• Website.
• Support email.
• Privacy Policy URL.
• Terms URL.
• Reviewer instructions.
• Exact redirect URI or URIs.
• Requested permissions.

Domain verification
CaribSocial can require verification of the domains used by the app website and production redirect URIs. Follow the DNS TXT challenge shown in App Settings. Verification helps prove that the developer controls the domain used by the integration.

App Review
When the app is ready, the Owner submits it for review. CaribSocial reviews the requested production permissions and trust information.

Important lifecycle rules
• Draft and rejected apps can be edited and submitted again.
• A pending review can be withdrawn by the Owner when supported.
• Security-sensitive changes to an approved app require a new production revision.
• Sandbox remains separate from production review.
• Production OAuth access can be paused when an approved app enters a required revision or is suspended.

Request only the permissions your integration actually needs. App Review does not automatically grant every Developer API permission.
