How to add topics, photos and location to an announcement

Improve an announcement with optional media, topics, location and calls to action.

The Announce composer supports optional information that can make an announcement easier to understand and discover.

Photos

You can attach supported images in the composer. The first selected image becomes the cover image. The composer accepts JPG, PNG and WebP images and validates selected media before submission.

Topics

Search for existing topics and add the ones that fit your announcement. If an appropriate topic is not available and topic creation is enabled, you can create a new topic from the composer. Topics are optional and do not block publishing.

Location

You can provide country, region and city information. Location helps location-focused discovery such as Near You.

Links and calls to action

When appropriate, you can add a destination link and choose a call-to-action supported by the selected announcement type.

Only add information that accurately describes the announcement.
